Kristian DeLayne dropped in to hang and discuss music and upcoming projects with DJ's Jerel Jones and Terrone Evans. WUMD Radio is located on the outside if Detroit, MI at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus.

Kristian was asked questions from her take on the music scene of Detroit to how she plans to make her music her way, without being a "sell out." Kristian DeLayne gives a real take on being a female in the music business and how you have to be yourself. She also gives a snippet of new music that will be on her upcoming album! Kristian Delayne is Detroit Budweiser Opening Act Finalist

Kristian DeLayne was one of the top 10 finalists for the Budweiser Opening Act competion in Detroit! On Saturday July 23rd at Lucky’s Downtown Kristian and 9 other Local Finalists competed for a chance to win $5000, and a chance to open for the Budweiser Super Fest Tour Featuring Jill Scott and Anthony Hamilton.

Kristian Delayne did an Awesome job!

National recording artist Jon B. was also in attendance to watch and give a performace towards the end of the competition. It was very exciting!
